Those who need my number have it :) I gave it out just in case becuase with school work getting heavy (I love spring break, this has given me a well needed escape from homework!) I may not be on here and I don't want people to think I bailed with him lol
It's cool he's sending it Monday - I will stop by next Saturday on the way home from class and pick him up then :) |

I'll take long lunch breaks at work and drive him around during the day when it's nice out. And I'll make sure he visits the Mall of America :)

The thread has been pretty slow lately. I was hoping other people would start posting by now,
but I guess we're still waiting. Boy, I do miss Bamboo (sigh) (sigh) Are you all ready for another one of Bamboo's excursions through SF while we're waiting for Bamboo to resurface? By the way, that skinny little tower sticking up way in the back, at the end of the train, that's UC Berkeley. Bamboo didn't have the time to visit the campus, but maybe some day? OK, let's go in the backpack until we reach our destination ... 16th and Mission in San Francisco. Are you peeps coming? :) Last edited by tomato; 03-22-2010 at 02:46 AM. |

Bamboo @ Clarion Alley, SF (Part 1)
The morning after Bamboo got his little hoodie,
I woke up and found him busy tagging the bottom of the bathroom wall. So I decided to show Bamboo how it's really done, with color and all. There is a place in the Mission District, San Francisco, where people will not tag anything (well not much) out of respect for those who have already painted murals and all sorts of things on the walls. It's called Clarion Alley or "the mural project of Clarion Alley" if you want to Google it. They even have a Facebook page now O_O http://www.facebook.com/pages/San-Fr...t/127102311571 At first glance, Clarion Alley doesn' t look like much at all and it's pretty easy to walk by without knowing it's there. Bamboo is leading the way, are you coming? :) . Last edited by tomato; 03-28-2010 at 10:43 PM. |

Bamboo in San Francisco - Clarion Alley (Part 2 )
Clarion Alley is full of tourists and photographers during the day.
I can't say I recommend it at night, though. Well, you'll figure it out when you get there. The Alley is right in the heart of the Mission district. Well, that's probably for another time... Hopefully Bamboo will resurface in another state before I get to the Mission pics! Here is hoping whoever has Bamboo does the right thing and puts it in the mail soon. Look at the colors on these walls! My photos do not do the murals justice Bamboo liked them a lot, though and had fun looking at every one of them. What do you think? I think he needs a facebook page. Seriously. If he had one, and all the pictures of his travels were up for all of us to view, that would rock!! Can we make him one?? :) |

well if we do make a facebook for bamboo then we need to make a dead email for it... but it would not be too difficult...

it could be "YWBamboo@aol.com" or something - and the moderators could have the login info for the FB page.
I think it could be easily managed. |
