Nah, he won't have a scar. Maybe a very small, cute one.

Yeah, very lucky... once an eye is gone, it is gone. A good friend was trying to unlock his car with a coathanger; need I say more?

i'm doing much better! thanks for all the kind words people!
wednesday was the most painful day. it was also the day that i drained out all of the fluid trapped in my cheekbone area. a tablespoon of some really gross colored goo came out (none of it was green/yellow/white, so i dont think it was highly infected) here's day 7 (today)

Yeah, it looks real good, as far as I can tell from the pic.
You might have a very, very small but cute scar (I insist it will be cute) I've seen facial injuries post mountain bike accidents, and I've fallen myself a couple of times and have scars to prove it, so that's why I think you're gonna be fine. Vicodin makes me barf too. Try to split your pills and take half the dosage now WITH FOOD and half 2 hours later, I find it helps to break it down that way. Sometimes it's just easier not to take it and take Ibuprofen instead (won't do much for the pain, though, but it helps inflammation, etc.) make sure they give you something so there is no infection. Infection would prevent you to heal well and probably affect the scar you end up with. Last edited by tomato; 12-11-2009 at 05:25 PM. |
