Damn I hope he didn't get made or else I gotta clean a big-ass pool of blood up , goodfella's ftw !

Yeah the wing was a little under 200 cash and the shop is like 3 minute from my work . It looks like if you were using this wing with the stock hatck the the hole on the glass side would work but you would need like bolts with nuts on the inside of the hatch , cause the stock wing uses those plastic push in clips that are really short and I had to use a 1" self-tapping screw on the wing . If anybody is intersted my friend has 4 more in stock .

Nice car, spoiler matches the hatch real nice.

Random question though, does the cross brace allow the rear seats to lock into place when slid all the way back or do they need to be moved forward slightly?

No the rear seats DO Not lock fully in place , but they sit far enough back where they still feel normal when sitting in them . I installed the recaro fixed bucket seats , so the back seat is usless now , I'm in the process of designing a nice looking rear seat delete .

I like it in some of the pictures, but in other ones I think it looks out of place. I'm really not sure about it. I'd have to see it in person to really tell.

Yeah , It does look kinda weird in a couple of the the pictures I took , but in person no doubt it look badass Imo! ^^^ Astroman where/when did you get your wing and how'd you install it ? I used the 3m tape on the window side that was on the wing already and 4 washers and self tapping hex-head screws.

I pretty much installed mine the same way, except the self tapping screws I used had metal and rubber washers.

Nice wing, blcksandiego!
Did you by any chance weigh the OEM hatch versus the CF? Is the Seibon a lot lighter?

I didn't put them on a scale for offical weigh in , but I can tell you the Seibon hatch is feather light , no more than 8-10lbs(+glass) also I didn't re-install the rear wiper motor which is probaly another -5lbs . I did the hatch purely for looks so the weight loss was just an added bonus .

the Seibon hatch is 15 pounds lighter if you lose the wiper assembly. That one I weighed before and after.
