I vote for Sacramento

Hey guys -
new here, in fact this is my first post!

I just bought a 2009 Polar White 3dr Hatch Type S with manual transmission and "TRD package" - TRD springs, struts, shocks, TRD exhaust, TRD swaybar, TRD Sport 18" wheels. It will have basically every TRD accessory available as that is my theme! Even the license plate reads MINI TRD. pics will be posted soon.

Some of you may know my old scion tC - TRD TC (http://carsponsors.com/trdtc) from various car shows, Scikotics events, or cruises. Well, a deer along Sunrise Blvd shortened its life (http://rcinfo.us/cia/mods) and now I have a Yaris to replace it.

Since I am in Sacramento, I voted for Sac! Anyhow, I will try and make it wherever you end up. Hey Laz, it's Clark, Chuck's friend. He says hi and that you never call anymore. Ooops, enough off-topic!

See you soon!

Oh snaps, CLARK! Since when did you get a Yaris? That's awesome, man. You gotta get the Netz and Vitz emblems from Garm (Cali Yaris).

hahahaha, I never call anymore. I don't really call anyone. hahaha. I mainly communicate in person or online. hahaha.

I chose Sacramento as well. I don't mind driving down to the bay area, but I've done it more times this year than I really needed to. And ztrack is pretty far away, so if he could come to a meet in Sacramento I think it's worth it to have a different member be able to show up to a meet.

MiniTRD - man that sucks! Looks like it's right after you cross the American River. I wouldn't think you'd have deer around that area, I would figure the traffic would scare them away.

well according to the CHP it happens quite often there at the river - in fact there's a deer crossing sign on the other side of the road!

the main thing is that I walked away from it. and now I have a Yaris!!!

Holding off on a few more days.

To those wanting the Sacramento cruise/run...... How long is the trail, how long would you be willing to do the cruise, and how many can make it if i post up a date 3 weeks in advance for you guys? AND i mean dead serious on showing up~~ no flakes..

If you guys can be committed to the cruise run and not run off after an hour or so, then it may be worth it for us Bay Area folks to come up there..... (excludes Kaotic)

LMAO. I'm in the Bay Area when this cruise will take place. hahaha. So I'll be heading up there too. Just letting you know now, I won't be able to make it if it takes place August 9-12.

Anywho, the cruise itself has two variation. The shorter one is 26.8 miles and about 48 minutes. http://www.google.com/maps?f=d&sourc...9&ie=UTF8&z=10

Longer route at 42.3 miles and 1hr and 20 minutes.

Parking lot we can have a bbq at.

http://www.google.com/maps?f=d&sourc...,0.004823&z=18

This lot is about a third way through the shorter route, and probably a only a 1/4 way through the longer route.

Bump.

There was also another cruising road near SF that ended at a golf course. I have to ask one of my buddies where it's at tho as I have forgotten the name of the road.

Hi guys, I am the one who offered the storage facility in Mill Valley, if it wins, I need at least 1 wk to get ready. Anyway, in case we do decide to meet there, it is 799 redwood highway Mill Valley, CA. For those who know the area, It is the green/brown facility (not public storage) right behind the Arco gas station and goodman's lumber. It is right across the freeway from In/out burger and Strawberry shopping center.

It's a shame the Sacramento meet can't be a lot sooner because I'm in Folsom right now at a buddy's place as I write. Unfortunately, I won't be staying too much longer. I voted for Mercado because I'm not sure if I could make the drive up to Sacramento area again and then drive another 50 miles. Money is a bit tight since I'm going on vacation and really need to save every penny I can. I leave for Hawaii around August 15th.

Well if you want to meet up with my car I work pretty much every day in Folsom, just right off of East Bidwell.
