I don't think so, check out how far forward it sits:

Very important question: Does this micro image arm rest in any way cover up, interfere with the use of, or extend forward/over/above, the CD holder slots that are next to the parking brake handle?
I have the Micro Image one and I really like it. It doesn't cover the CD holder slot at all. It installs in about 2 minutes.
I definitely would recommend it.

The Micro Image center arm rest opens up to give you more cd slots and coin slots for quarters.

Is the micro image center armrest lower, or further back, than the stock armrest? Like, will I have to readjust where I keep my elbow while driving?

It not a bad looking armrest.. looks pretty decent.

I'm pretty intrigued how this console is mounted. Anyway, I did send a question to the eBay seller hopefully he gets back to me with more info.

i have the stock one, grrr. i can't stand it, i should figure out how to take it out. it is always in the way of shifting, and it is at a terrible height for me as well.

Well I for one, love the stock arm rest, its at perfect height, including for shifting. So I'm worried that the micro image arm rest will be too low/too different...

I have the OEM armrest and I'm 100% satisfied. The microimage armrest certainly looks nice. Maybe someone can comment on any height differences between the two armrests... to help you with your decision.

Toyota arm rest

I installed the arm rest from Toyota and found it too high for comfort. Hack # 1: I cut 3/4 inch from the height and welded the parts back together with a plastic welding kit from Harbor Freight.
My gripe #2 was having to reach down to shift. Hack #2: I installed both popular short shift options and made a threaded adapter to raise the shift knob 2.5 inches. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... with my elbow on the rest my hand lands naturally on the shift knob. Correct human factors engineering is such a comfort. When I drive my wife's stock Corolla It feels like I'm rowing a Roman war ship.

At 6ft. 220Lbs., I find my factory armrest in my hatch to be the perfect height. And real sturdy too!
I drive an A/T so shifting is not an issue.....

I recommend this seller:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/390446315217...84.m1497.l2649

It's fairly cheap and it works for me! I have no complaints. I'm 5'10" and 200lbs.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-LIFTB...d04d85&vxp=mtr. I'm currently using this console. It was a little cheaper back in 07 when I bought it. I love it. Decent amount of stowage, the cup holder folds away when not being used, seeing how I did a back seat delete that holder is useless.
