Cool man, making some sort of mounting plate or some such jazz was what I was thinking as well, but I wasn't real sure how to go about it.

:P

I do have a mill, so I could in theory get a big hunk of plastic and mill out some sort of mounting system to hook on the rear view mirror or something, I've just been too lazy to dink with it. Shoot I still haven't installed that disk brake kit or the F/IC I've had for however many years, lol.

47.

I've posted a link to my RD mount post, I took the idea from shaggyone at planet-9

http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...ht=radar+mount

I got one of these,

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BICYCLE-REFL...item3cf8912501

And had some thin aluminum stock in the shop, fabricated and new arm into the RD and mounted the RD off my RVM stem.

I hate anything "stuck" on my windshield

Perhaps something like that would work for the cam, of course you could always get one of these,

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Windshie...item1c4734c835

Been wanting a dash cam myself, but it would have to be up behind my RVM for me.

I'm thinking of a couple of different mounts, something that can be easily detached. I may have to branch off my RD mount.

Something like your rig off the rear view mirror is exactly what I was thinking. I use a RAM mount for my GPS/cell phone/etc. because I also hate having things stuck to the window. I've got one of these RAM mounts in my car, my truck, and on my mountain bike. Flipping awesome things these.

I've got some spare bike reflectors somewhere. I'll have to see if I can modify one of those to suit my needs.

The newer ones also have a motion detection feature, so you can record after you park. Might try that with mine, the buttons can be a little wonky at times.

I've got a A118C dashcam which I would recommend. I've mounted it on the passenger side, however it's not even due to pointing towards the passenger side instead of driver. I'm planning on hardwiring the dashcam soon. I'm planning on setting it to ignition on instead of 24/7.

Meaning when you're parking and backing up you have reference to where you're at to where the objects are distance wise obviously the higher the resolution numbers the better and clearer the picture will be they are very useful
