The "suits" who supposedly "know nothing about the transformers history" are the moms & dads who bought these ridiculous pieces of plastic for you "fans". Believe me, we know all about Transformers history.

A bit annoyed that Bumblebee is a Camaro. He's called Bumblebee for a reason. He was a SMALL compact VW! But yeah, I'm seeing it. Had to talk my better half into letting me take her.

Thanks to the threat of video piracy, Transformers premiers tonight (28 June 07) in Malaysia and possibly other South East Asian countries as well. I guess the idea is that if we get to watch it first, we won't be tempted to get the pirated DVDs filmed from US theatres? I wonder why the authorities didn't figure it could work the other way around as well?

I got my tickets for the 1st of July. Hope its gonna be good. From the cast list, Optimus Prime is voiced by the same guy from generation 1!

wow so there's still a good amount of people going to the cinema in KL? I remember when I was there, even for pretty big movies, they were rarely more than half full... Which one will you go to?

I'm a little upset they didn't stick to the original vehicles. The part that upsets me the most is that Optimus Prime isn't a cab-over truck. They could have made Bumblebee a Chevette, still would have been a GM advertisement AND a small car . At least it's being made into a movie, and I can't wait to see it.
