That Mazda 2 should be out next month here. Certainly looks intriguing - particularly the headlights, so peugeot.

Very nice! Mazda makes a great car.

The design immediately reminded me of Peugeot!

Careful not to making to too obvious when you tune your car in HK. Tuning in HK could be illegal, I don't know the details personally but engine swap is at least a big no no.

That aside, I would get the fit. The Fit is more popular there than the yaris (both generation combined); yes it may take more than a year to get some AM support, but I think in the end it will be worth it. Save yourself some gas with 1500 cars since gas is like double the price there. Besides Civic would be harder to park... HK parking with pillers left and right.

actually, tuning anything in hk is illegal, this includes adding spoilers and stuff. but no one really cares. for parking i'm not too worry, i'm used to driving a Cayenne and Q7 in hk.

one really big problem with the Vitz Turbo is the price. its around 220K HKD for the car, while a DC5 Type R (Facelifted) is only around 250K and the new FD2 Civic Type R is 290K. at that price range, there is alot more to choose from, especially when the standard RS model is around 160-170k

for the same price, i can get a used 2006 BMW 130i hatch, which doesnt even have 10000km on the odo and still have new car smell.

so buying car in hk is quite different cuz in the same price range, u can really get really nice used cars. unlike in north america, there is no way u can find a barely used car selling for less then half its original MSRP within a year.

Wow, that new Honda Jazz looks great. Australia gets it next year apparently. It seems to resemble the Mercedes A-Class.

Yep. When I test drove the Honda a few weeks back, the sales guy commented on the new model, and it's apparently built on the shared A series platform.

BTW: M2 prices have been released and tops out at ~AUD$21800.

Sounds like neo/maxx/genki will be in line with YR/YRS/YRX then.

Something tells me that new Fit looks a lot cooler in a picture than it is going to look in person. Just a guess. The front end on the current gen is really terrible IMO. That looks the same.

+1
The rear is really fugly, which is a pity, since I really liked the front.
