Alright... This would be amazingly sick and... completely unique...
Like you said, a vertical life kit so that things goes up like a real moon rover, Put some nice big offroad wheels. Big bottom Lights. Bodykit on top with custom paint job of whatever you are passionate about. Change the headlights and rearlights. Put one of those step things on the side to get in easier like trucks have. Get a JDM RS Rep Wing. Then finish it all off with a cool horn to go with ur Big and scary yaris =)

Hell yeah! Or let's make a production RSC out of it, or at least close to it

Sweet! Some great ideas. I appreciate it thoroughly. And from a closet Star Wars nerd, nice screenname TK.

well, sounds like you want a flashy ride... not in too many peoples' taste over here, but why not, you might be able to take it to some shows and get some trophies

bare requirements:
Body Kit (customized for extra points)
Fancy paint (not sure what's "in" these days, maybe flat black?)
"Lambo" doors
Big wheels
airbag suspension so you can slam it
custom interior with loads of speakers and screens

though I'm pretty sure you'll blow your budget real fast! Just make sure you get a good idea of what you are trying to achieve, and not just stick on every "cool" part you find.

If done right, this can be pretty badass

If you have a 5-door LB, some rear suicide doors would be sweet IMHO. It's very unique and actually functional at the same time.

Sweet , first off welcome to yarisworld , second hit up my man Garm for all your yaris parts needs www.MicroImageOnline.com
Imo with what you have to spend and what it seems like your goal with the car is I'd go with

Full replica c-one body kit 900
replica c-one rear wing 150ish
tanabe df210 springs 160
Axle back exhaust (stock exhaust looks stupid with a bodykit)
some big rims/tires 1000+
Paint the kit to match stock color or paint the full car custom color 400-5k+ and a set of leather/suede center seat covers 400
Keep in mind that if you seriously bought all this stuff from Microimage at once , Garm will probaly give you much better prices than I listed .

I'm looking at buying fog lights from him within the next month or so, the rest of this will be bought at once, around Septemberish. I'm liking what I see in his shop.

so you dare to be different huh? I double dog dare ya to buy a set of Daisys.. your daughter might think they are cool. nobody else on the board is brave enough. the only problem, they won't help spend the big pile very well- only $62 a piece. and they are a bit on the heavy side.

ahh geez i was kidding... more info can be found at the tirerack

What i've really been thinking is: You live on, around or near a marine base. Sometimes not the nicest neighborhoods. cars get jacked, broke into, stripped. Sure insurance is supposed to cover.

I left my toyota hilux in the offbase parking for 3 days and somebody stole my tail lights.

$3500 could be split a few ways - like $1500 for the yaris toys, $1000 in invested savings for the kid, and $1000 blown on a memorable event for the kid- trip to disneyworld, or whatever she is into.
To put the whole shebang into the car and then have the car stolen would seriously suck..

Of course I didn't take any of that advice- The $3500 i should have saved over a west pac cruise ended up as a stupid gambling debt.

You are very right, it would suck quite a bit to have it stolen. But, I'm putting about $28K in savings/college fund for my daughter, took her to Disneyland last weekend, and I'm spending a few thousand on a short Europe trip for my daughter and I and new furniture. (my ex-wife took alot of the stuff in our house to include my daughters bed and dresser.... bleh)

I've never done anything for myself with the money I've earned. And I'll be living on base housing, where things are at least behind guarded gates. If it gets stolen, I will be devestated, but I'll live. I'm never gonna get handed this large amount of money again, and I'm putting the vast majority in savings.

cool. sounds like you have your priorities straight. back when i was in, $3500 would have been 30-40% of the total bonus. guess they've gotten a little bigger these days..

To keep me reenlisted I will get $48K after I graduate my school. It goes to about $35K after taxes, but still enough. I reenlisted to learn Arabic, and honestly would've done it without the bonus, but the more the better. And it's cause of the war. If I had stayed infantry I could've got $70K to go back to Iraq. Too hard to convince people to keep putting their lives on the line. Especially for a Marine Corps that turns it's back on us. Bleh. Love Marines. Hate the Corps.
