sorry to hear about your car. Good thing nothing valuable was stolen and I think I gotta start taking personal stuff I leave in my car like my phone and mp3 with me from now on. Maybe even the audio cord that I use every day to listen to my mp3. Thanks for the tip though

rampant here
at least they didn't steal any of my hats! still got a plastic DIY plastic "window" on that side because it's pointless to put in glass only to get it smashed out again eventually. |

well last night someone busted my drivers side window, and they took nothing, kinda wish they did, at least it would have been worth the damn effort of breaking my window

Some renter's insurance policies cover personal property in your vehicle with a deductible. If you have your windows tinted, it can stop the glass from shattering into more pieces. I've heard it's a PITA to clean up. Glad to hear you're ok Tomato. |

Hopefully just a random vandal, and not a personal attack. ('cause those guys might come back)

i love my 2 way car alarm, tho i need to rewire it in a way that i can tell the difference between "warn away" and "full alarm" by looking at the remote and not by the vibrate/chirp pattern on the remote.
With my RideTones thing, i plan to do a custom alarm sound, something unique like a loud Klaxon, that or make the car scream "RAPE!!!!" That should get the thief running away. I really want to put some a camera on each side of the car and a rear one to compliment my dash cam all hooked up to a DVR, if only i could broadcast it so i could see it on my iphone.

Sometimes it's just kids randomly throwing rocks, marbles, pennies, etc

If I was a thief, which I'm not, I would try to make it seem like nothing was touched, so the owner would not know right away. Just less of a chance to get caught from physical evidence...? I dunno maybe that's why I'm not a thief!

There was someone running around and setting cars on fire all over the bay area. I don't think they ever caught the person.

Sorry to here about you loss
I really like the Texas Castle Law, if my car alarm goes off, I will go outside with my gun. I have the right to defend my home and my property with deadly force and there is nothing I hate more than a thief. http://www.mysanantonio.com/opinion/...age=2#storytop The "castle doctrine" helps protect law-abiding people in their homes or business. It removes the hesitation of calculating an intruder's intentions and potential weapons, thus allowing the individual to protect him- or herself, loved ones and property without hesitation.
