you know you can install aftermarket heated seat kits relatively easily and they can be quite cost effective.

So the other car/vehicle I was considering was the Honda CRV, so they took me to a Honda dealership that wasn't part of their dealership. So I got a brand new 2014 Honda CRV LX it was $2k more than the Impreza and doesn't have heated seats but I think I won't go wrong with the Honda, plus a big plus it's ground clearance is perfect for my road no problems. I will keep you informed of the mileage when I get some miles on it. Here's a picture of it.

Also I saw on the carmax website that my Yaris is selling for $10,899 and they are saying that is it a S model, they gave me $5000 for the car.
I think you'll like the CR-V. I think this is one of the few segments that Honda currently (IMO) executes better than Toyota. At the Houston Auto Show for the 2013 model year (in January of 2013), I spent quite a bit of time sitting in the latest CR-V and the latest RAV4. I liked the CR-V better....better execution of little things that would matter (to me) day to day. I can't remember any of those items (for certain) off the top of my head , but that was my overall impression.

......However, I do sometimes see very rusted out cars and trucks (likely lived an earlier part of 'life' in a state where cars become rust buckets )

Agreed on the mileage. Mine has 117k on it, and she still drives like new. Still looks great too (other than a few chips in the paint here and there).

I don't have the car anymore more to get a picture, but it was down to bare metal in a few places and rust was starting, also it had a leak by the edge of weather molding on the roof that water was actually coming in and dripping on my seat.
