RICER: "Rye'sir"; noun

Term applied to those in the import tuning scene, often derisively, due to ongoing biases against FWD drivetrains and poorly modified import vehicles.

Most often seen on early dirt bikes with two-cycle engines. The hoser would modify the expansion chamber for more noise wrecking the torque curve and pissing off the neighbors with the ultrasonic hash noise.

VTEC= Very Tall Engine Coolant. 280 HP from a different coolant? Hook Me Up!!! My car could kill a jet with that. And then he went and said that the stamp was his name and the VTEC guys name, and it was super valuable and added 40 HP and made the whole car lighter... I'm gonna stop now.

IMO ricers are immature. They only want their cars to look cool. It's just a popularity contest.

If they really wanna push the limits on what their cars can do, they would be better off just building a sleeper followed by a dyno run and a few hot laps around the track
