Excellent post and ton of thanks for taking the time to upload all those pictures and the comments to go with.
I've started working on my car this past weekend, but I'm starting at the trunk and working forward. The trunk is now 98% done and tonight I'm pulling the rear seat to get to the floor underneath. This is where your pictures are making it a whole lot easier! I'm not going to do a killer stereo, but just working on reducing unwanted road noise and going for the more "upscale" feel. I plan on leaving the stock head unit, but upgrading the speakers when I get to the doors (and the speakers in the rear deck). Maybe a small amp to go with. Not sure about that yet. Anyway, major props to you on your install! I too thank you for your service to our great country!

I'm looking forward to more pics! You're inspiring me!
Holy cow! It was more than a TUG to get the rear seat out! I ended up banging my head on the roof when that sucker gave way. Now I need to remove the seat subframe and the plastic side panels and so forth so I can get to the floor under the seat, etc. By the way, I noticed a ton of space behind those plastic pieces at the base of the seat. Basically what your heels would touch while sitting down - right behind there. Do you think the addition of some thick foam pieces stuffed in there after doing the sound deadening mat and Ensolite would be worth it? Seems like an easy place to gain some more noise reduction.

For me taking the rear seat out was very painful! it was a TUG x 2
I notice the extra space too, and thought about it, after treating my rear seats I don't think needs more foam, it's very quiet back there. It doesn't heart though. D. .

Thanks for that. Just curious, did you do the doors too? How crazy did you get with the sound deadening material?

Look at this: Manual Pages 12 through 25, does the manual gives you a good reference to follow and to take the headliner down? or could you add some tips/notes? where to START, etc In my case I only would like to stick my hand between the roof and the headliner to apply 6 or 8 CLD Tiles to take care of the resonance, so I don't really need to take it all the way down, but loose the ends(corners or sides) one at a time. Any feed back it's appreciated, thanks! This is Page # 12 in the Manual
