The Moto Droid comes with 16GB standard. Looking at the specs sheet, the only thing the Incredible has over Droid is the Snapdragon processor and a slightly better camera. Everything else is virtually the same - screen size, ect... It also doesn't have a physical KB (which I don't use anyway). My guess though is that the Incredible will cost more. |

@ Kal El: Same cost as the Droid. $199 with a $100 rebate on VZW and 2 Y K.
The Incredible comes with Sense UI (different interface, more home screens instead of the standard 3). You're right, they're not that far apart in specs and nobody said the DROID isn't good. I see that it's not getting much love in the polls, but that doesn't make the Droid a bad phone by any means. I noticed that the camera on the DROID makes grainy photos though (look at the photo of the iPad I took a couple of weeks ago, that was taken with a Droid), and there is some shutter lag which you probably don't get as much with a faster processor? I'm waiting for the beta testers to render their verdict ... |

Yeah, they were making them back then already but very few people at T-Mobile knew that. They had to do something since, they've taken away the sidekick and the new click is now keyboardless. Maybe you should download her a different KB. I know one of the guys at the TMobile store told me he had to do it because the stock KB really s..cks (his words, and he sells them! ;) |

Hahahaha!! ^
I know what you mean I understand, though. I'm a huge fan of the tactile QWERTY KB myself, especially the Blackberry's. |

Kioshi< don't take our word for it, google "android application multi language support japanese english" or something like that and see if there is anything out there for Android 2.1. If it isn't there now, you know you'll have to wait a little. I can't imagine Japanese expats or even Japanese businessmen in Japan not wanting an app like that on their smartphone

They don't really need an app because NTT Docomo, AU, Vodafone, etc all have english to japanese conversion built into every phone, including pay as you go phones lol.
Yeah, I'm typing this all on my flip phone, will do when I am home. Just thought the software/app smarties here would know the answer right away hehe ;) |

Kioshi, Android does support Japanese text display. Input is a different story however. (Maybe there's an app out for it?)
http://www.google.com/support/androi...&answer=166508 The above link is in reference to the Nexus One, but so long as the phone is running 2.1 the linked table would be applicable. |

are you wanting to be able to type in multiple languages? if so then right now no phone has that capability built in (except overseas docomo etc.) but there are numerous apps like 'google translate' that can take text and give you translations back and forth from over 30 languages (at least 30) and in most cases even text to speech. a lot of the apps also handle speech to text input.... oh and FYI t-mobile has a no contract plan that you pay for monthly and cancel anytime....it's what were on. just no phone subsidizing is all |
