Ok so, i was denied the 14th of March off (I did get May 8th off for ToyotaFest though, yay)...because my stupid dept. head requested that day off before me. Regardless, the date is solid, so carry on with this meet/cruise everyone :)

I will be there in spirit lol~

In the same shopping center as Taiko, we have BJ's Brewhouse and Ruby Tuesday. Chili's, however, off the next freeway exit. (Links go to their menus.)

Don't know if you guys prefer to eat close together or not. Just thought I'd throw the options out there.

why would everyone go to the trouble of having a really cool meet, greet, eat and cruise and then not eat together?

Make it fun!!

Kioshi, tell us where your boss lives and we'll have a Yaris drive-by [we'll go cruise by his house a couple of times] to convince him to let you have the day off (how can you say no to a bunch of yarii?)

I see Garm's point. How about a BBQ at a nearby park? Bring your own grub to grill, then meet/greet/mingle and check out the cars in the parking lot. Perhaps easier to do it that way then at a restaurant(s). Just a thought...weather permitting, of course.

Do some hydro-therapy. Jump in the shower, put it to the hottest temp that you can tolerate. Stand in the shower for 30 seconds to a minute, then switch it to the coldest. Again, remain in it for 30 seconds to a minute. Repeat this hot and cold cycle for about 5 minutes at the beginning of your shower, and 5 minutes at the end. Works great for me.

They do have a picnic area somewhere along Salmon Falls Rd, but I'd rather eat at a restaurant.

I'm pretty flexible on where I can eat. I'll eat just about anywhere, so what ever is cool for me.

I see you're point Garm, but at the same time I have always believed in keeping people happy and not force anything on anyone. If one half has a strong desire for asian food and the other doesn't, then so be it; a split eating group. I'd rather not see someone trying to gulp down something they didn't want to eat, or didn't want to eat THAT day, then everyone's stomach be satisfied w/ what they came to eat.

My friend asked me if he can invite some people from Scikotics, I said yes. Will be updating on how many Scikotics will be attending. I also told him to post (since I don't post in Scikotics anymore) to basically not drive like asshats. hahaha.

i met a guy in my college class that's part of a Subaru WRX club, would be cool to reach out and invite those guys. His WRX looks like a pretty modded out machine from what pics and what he told me. Im jealous of stock turbo cars...just imagine if our Yaris was stock turboed.

You should invite him/them. This will be a nice, big car meet.
