Ok so I have a pet box turtle (I'll get some pet pics up here as soon as I can)... and let me tell you, she will eat ANYTHING! Her favs are snails and bananas, but if there is anything within biting range, consider it gone!

Among other birds, we feed a family of crows. Put out dry cat food for them. Last year we had a wild box turtle coming around to scarf up cat food. When we learned that, we started watching for her and would go out to give her a spoonful of canned cat food. She was wild and wary, but she knew we were feeding her and didn't freak out when we'd plop it down in front of her. If we backed off a little, she'd eat it right in front of us. Didn't see her all this past summer. Something's happened to her. She had a mass growing on the left side of her head & neck.

Zelly's a baby doll! She's our "grandchild." Tortoises are smart, social and communicative like parrots. Also very long-lived, so it's a lifetime commitment and beyond to take one on as a pet.

It appears that Zelly has better social skills than my Pacman, Merlin. It's so lazy it won't even come out and eat, I have to feed him his crickets and pinky mice in his hole; he's getting really fat.

Zelly ate every bit of that pile of food, too. She was about to pop!

Potty-trained, spoiled, and very, very, mischievous!

Thanks!

It's actually a harness, because rabbits cannot be properly walked without one. The gf made me pick the zebra styled one o_o
