I remember seeing 1NZ spacers in scionlife. I suggest you look there as well.

Yeah I did look over at scionlife, but from what I remember the throttle body is different. I believe the shape and it only has 3 screws and ours has 4.
It would be great if you can do 1NZ TO 1NZ TB spacers on the next run. |

the picture on advance auto parts doesn't seem like it would fit, but it may be just a picture display. The brand is Airraid. I'm going to find out for sure if its for real.

I've had the 1ZZ TB and spacer setup installed for about 3 months so far. To be honest, I feel no difference in performance when using the spacer. It seems to reduce the 1ZZ down to a 1NZ, as I believe someone pointed out earlier in this thread.
When I had the 1ZZ installed previously, with no spacer, I felt a definite and measurable increase in performance. All I see now is a high cold idle and a jerky-ness when I let off the gas. I've had no CEL and no oscillation though, which is a perk I guess. I don't know if my results are the same as everyone else who is using this spacer. I'd be interested to hear other reviews. |

This mod isn't really meant to increase performance as much as helping in smoothing out the flow of air in order to reduce that jerkiness you felt before the spacer, as well as make the air a tiny bit colder which, among other things, should increase throttle response by a small amount.
The high cold idle can be eliminated by messing around with the idle screw, BTW. Just be careful not to use too much force or you will strip it.
