We have wireless in the garage! Yes!!!

My car is torn down. Spkrman's car is getting there. Looks like we will have him out of here tonight and we will be left with a turbo install on my car tomorrow. Joe has done 99% of the work. He is awesome. I might take some time and post some pics in a bit.

Mark's turbo Yaris was quick, but the automatic definitely left something to be desired. Can't wait to install it on my manual!

Now I have to find the ECU pinout. If anyone has that link handy, feel free to post it and save me some time.

Listening to The Tourists - Reality Effect on CD.
I had the vinyl when it first came out, then the cassette for commuting in the Fiat 126 in England, and now, finally, the US has woken up and imported the CD. About frikkin' time!

Got my Netz emblem today (Thanks, Garm)! I've posted the "husky fingers" DIY under the debadge/blackout thread in the DIY forum.

I'll post cherry blossom pictures sometime tonight or tomorrow.

I just got back from a GREAT night out. I went to see a country/rock band with a girlfriend of mine and intended on staying MAYBE an hour...but remained until bar close. The band ROCKED. They were so much fun and this rotund, older, lead guitar player was the BOMB.

Oh, and I got to do my Coyote Ugly fantasy. I was invited to dance on the bar. I'll see if the band posts pictures. SO much fun!!! I can cross that off my bucket list. ;o)

Well I've had a busy day for a sunday

Woke up at 9:00, went outside and finished up the wiring of my side mirror covers, all clean and working now, yeay!

At 11:00 went out to meet with a local Yaris owner, who's a member here (dogtony) to deliver an NST pulley set he got from me. He's pretty close by and it was a nice drive, even though I got lost (GPS is pretty useless if it doesn't know the place )

So we went out for lunch with him and one of his friends, a German guy who lives around there and has some pretty awesome cars, an Audi S6, as well as an older A4 he is in the process of restoring, he got it cheap and in bad shape, and recently swapped the stock 1.8L for a V6 from a newer model... Still a work in progress but gonna be badass!

Then we hung out for a while, I came back home just now and tried to swap my wheels myself (front to back, the fronts are pretty worn and the rainy season is starting, I gotta get more groove ), but as it turns out, the stock lug nut wrench is too big for my aftermarket nuts (oh the innuendo). Better find this out here and now than stranded on the side of the road with a flat! So I skipped that and finally installed a set of NST shifter bushings! Way easier than I expected, didn't even have to remove the battery. Proper pliers designed for snap rings are a godsend, I used to hate those little things with a passion! Can't wait to go out for a drive again!

And now I'm back in my room, almost 5PM, gonna have to put an end to this fun day and get some work done for tomorrow.
