Are these worth the $$$?

I'm working on putting my I/H/E combo together and these prices are great. Compared to the brands Garm carries though, it makes me wonder if they're low quality. They seem to be ok (except for the blatantly obvious lie of a 10-16 hp gain on the header lol). Lemme know what you guys think - as long as I can get a decent quality header and CAI without paying $500+, I'll be quite happy

I have had the discount intake before and have never had a problem. I plan on doing the same intake, but with a higher quality filter.

The header I am skeptical of. The stock Yaris exhaust isn't that bad, and a header is so easy to screw up I would steer clear. I don't have it, (yet:)) but the NST pulley set would be the way to go for a little more power, and would be less risky than the header.

Good luck!

I got the Bomz CAI replaced the cheap filter it came with for an AEM Dryflow and wrapped the intake with heat reflective film. I think the quality of the intake pipe is good for the 60 dollars I spent on it.

Bought the CAI, I'll definitely put a higher flow filter on it at some point. Do you guys think a header is even worth it? Or is the stock not that much worse than say a Megan or DC header?

how do you figure that? The crank bolt is a critical engine component, if you don't get that right, no car.

Yup, doing pulleys you run the risk of breaking the vvti solenoid, header you run the risk of breaking the 02 sensor. Of course you could always snap your MAF trying to pull it out of your stock intake... Thing is all 3 of those breakable parts will cost you more than what you were replacing... lol

Or you could just install things correctly(read: not like a gorilla) and there's no risk of anything...
