Yaris vs. Deer
So I was driving home one night from school down highway 60 at about 65-70 mph and a deer decided to trot in front of me. I didnt have any time to slow down because it ran in front so fast, so it took Toyota Yaris straight to the midsection at 65 mph. I just got this car about a month ago so Im pretty pissed because it probably isnt going to be the same anymore after they fix it. But for nailing it doing 65 the damage isnt as bad as I thought it was. The condensor, radiator and crossmember up front was pushed up agianst the engine and the front clip kinda just popped back out, pass door wont open either......emblem went flying but i got it back Here is some pics.....
Some hair from the deer... Friend Joe aproving of the damage.... The damage is $5900.....I get it back tommorrow so well see how it turned out |

I'm ASSuming those are "photobucket" pics because this evil corporation has a "block" on Photobucket. Terds.

Ouch. Glad you're OK.
As far as your ride not being the same after that crash, you should be alright as long as the frame isn't damaged. Unless the deer you hit looked like the following, your ride should be like new after the repairs.

Actually, I was told by the Toyota rep that the collision has to be straight on the fender and above a certain speed in order for the airbags to activate.
