New Seats!! need some opinions!
Okay i traded for some seats today and had the ambition to install one. Luckily these seats are bottom mount and they came with universal brackets that actually fit on the OEM sliders. So i mounted the seat directly to the bracket and mounted the bracket directly to the sliders :) pretty easy install :)
I have that black thing I'm guessing maybe its the weight check thing? seems to be magnitized whatever it is. other than that thing the rest was a breeze. here are the pics! I plan to do the other seat tomorrow I think I might re do the fabric on the front doors in red to match. idk yet though

the guard on the side that covers the slider and stuff is just zip tied in place. works pretty slick though :)

BTW these are NRG Seats.
I had to drill two holes in the bottom of the actual seat frame to put two bolts becuase brackets that i got with the seats didnt actually go to these seats. they were universals though. so two bolts and two holes and that was about it.

The installation is so clean it could have come from the factory. Nice job!

i dont think they are any lower. they probably technically sit higher but the seats arent as thick so the driver sits at the same height.

The red definitely contrasts the blue but if you do some more work to make the red feel more at home in your interior I think it can be a good contrast. Kinda like a two-tone thing going on.

My vote:
Change the seat color. Keep everything else the same.
