longer 5th gear
Is there outside anywhere a publisher who have a longer 5 th gear for the yaris Ts P1? Or is there any other Toyota gearbox from where the last gear is fiting in the Yaris gearbox? On 190kmh the car has over 5000rpm thats too much

Try fitting larger diameter tires.

outstanding. autobahn. germany. didn't put that together at first. cool.
still i don't think the yaris was meant for high speed autobahn driving. but hey, if you come across a longer 5th more power to you.

Here that isn`t much. My Yaris drive 205 @ GPS testet. But then other cars drive one meter behind you, use the horn, lighthorn, and flashlight. They always drive "buisness class Combis" like Mercedes, Audi, BMW.....

Yep, a few years ago, while living in Germany I rented an Audi TT for my birthday and drove it 215 km/h on the Autobahn, just to see how it feels. That was the max speed marked on the speedometer anyway and it could have probably gone faster, but I was too chicken I only did it for less than 3 minutes anyway, just so I can check it off my list (drove 215 km/h - check)

Jesus, 200km/h? Pop a tire and you'd do many barrel rolls

By 205 km/h (GPS) it revs 6281 rpm. ( also on the German Autobahn) BTW Mabey a gearbox from a diesel have a "longer" fift gear a you can put him in your gearbox. |

Who said Yaris was slow?

TRD Japan actually offered a shorter and longer gear ratio option for the C56 tranny on your 1st gen TS. You would probably have to get it from japan and it would be pretty expensive.
A MUCh cheaper and feasible option is to get an used tranny from a US spec Toyota ECHO. It should be a direct swap and the gear ratios are way longer! (meant for US highway driving and fuel economy) |

If you have a TRD part number, I can get it from Japan.
