Rear disc brake conversion installed

Installed my rear disc brake conversion yesterday. Just need to adjust
the e-brake a little bit more.

Didn't really have any problems. Just took a little bit of time for me to bend the brake lines
in a good position. But they will be going away soon to make way for some Vios stainless steel
braided lines.

Nice!

Is that MicroImage's kit?

Are you installing a proportioning valve?

Yes, it's the kit from Micro Image. No plans for proportioning valve.

There's no need for a proportioning valve with this kit. It's designed for the car, and while I haven't scientifically tested it, I will say I think the rear brakes are doing more of the work with the conversion installed.

I think the new rotors are 285mm. Garm or Thomas should be able to verify.

The rotor is just a little bigger than stock -- if I recall correctly, 285mm?

Just checked. There's a 285 stamped on the rotor.
