New Corolla photos

As promised, I am posting photos of my new Corolla. They're not much since I am side-tracked with other stuff. But I'll post more when I get another chance.

Got Domo riding back seat. Safety first Domo!!

Good thing Caveatispe isn't here to complain that my windshield washer fluid reservoir has a plastic dipstick

Can these windshield wiper arms be installed/fit on the Yaris? The blades seem to be the same size.

It still amazes me that its possible to make a corolla weigh 2800 pounds.

I must confess. I do miss the Yaris. The Yaris is small, has a unique design, and was a rare one. Even my friend said the same thing. But, the Corolla has more power, a quieter ride, more parts/accessories are available, and some interior features that I really wanted in the Yaris (more leg room, telescope steering wheel, center console armrest/box).

I am planning on a 3,500 mile road trip this summer and thinking about renting a Corolla with cruise control.

The yaris sedan comes with a center console armrest/box.. and the half second on the 1/4 mile can be made up for spending the price difference on mods

I'm just giving you a hard time. I loved my corolla, I just love my yaris more.

If all goes perfectly (which rarely does) I might keep the Corolla and in the future be in the market for another Yaris or the iQ for commute. I know we're going to keep my wife's '02 Isuzu Rodeo when she plans on getting her Accord Coupe (sorry guys, she's just not into Toyota and we're going to marriage counseling for it )

I know this is going to sound corny, but I want to first get used to new dimensions and turn radius. Like the other day, I put the front lip way over the curb at a restaurant and was thankful it wasn't dropped or else I would be needing a new front end.

If I knew that I would've changed my mind! LoL!

Its a smooth ride. Not saying that the Yaris isn't. Its just that more room to play with. But if I had to take a trip in the Yaris, I still wouldn't have any problems at all. Heck, I made a trip in the Yaris to Fort Worth and back in the same day and did not feel fatigued at all. Although, the passenger was getting on my nerves.

lol probably . i think the matrix is more like a wagon corolla vs a hatch'd corolla.. the matrix weights a little more i think.

The one you're talking about is the Toyota Corolla RunX. Now, it is replaced with the Auris. As usual, it is only sold everywhere BUT United States. But it gets better, in Japan, they had a Auris "Tumi Edition" which is AWESOME!!

Below is the regular Auris

This is the "Tumi" which is the same exterior with a Netz badge but its the interior that Tumi designed

....and this is the interior

In case you haven't noticed, I love Tumi! They make awesome, overpriced leather briefcases and backpacks.

The Matrix is just based on the Corolla design
