Hey guys, I was just surfing on japanparts.com and found the Mirrors I beleive we are all looking for. I got quoted $373.10 shipped to my house and painted Blazing Blue Metallic! I thought that Blazing Blue Metallic wasn't available in japan? The picture shows that the lenses are orange but maybe that when it is only when it is lit up? What do you guys think? Will it be directly plug and play? I'm thinking bout picking these up! The price isn't too bad at all being shipped to to the US! Maybe this will be the way to go!

So does that mean that the turnsignal lenses are clear then?

BTY, they won't be a plug/play. It should be to hard to wire, I think the running of the wires will be most difficult. But good find man.

I think the japanparts are whole mirrors, aren't they?

More than I'm willing to spend. I like $117 plus shipping much better.

Yeah a lot of paint codes won't match. Black, meteorite metallic, blazing blue and absolute red should be OK, apart from those, no guarantee.

Even if the paint codes match, there's no guarantee that the actual paint itself will be a match, so I would strongly suggest buying them unpainted if possible and getting them painted when you get them.

I can't be sure yet, but the wiring should just be a matter of splicing to the wires of the side repeaters.

Yes, it is even possible that the actual shade of paint for a matching color code is not exactly the same between the two countries. I had a friend have this problem with BMW parts imported from Germany, so it is quite a possibility...

Thomas, I agree with you. I was looking and you could fish the wires down the quarter. Also I went to a shop today and asked and they will paint for $35. It maybe the way to go

Great news everyone! I can get the "Sakura" style, good quality replacement LED covers at a decent price, I've added them to the accessories group buy thread, check it out!
