Haha thanks... Need it for the fabricator.
Anyone else interested? I'm getting close on the pricing...

What materials are we talking about for these pieces? I am really digging that hood with the scoop in the middle. I am curious if we are going to drop a few lbs of weight by switching from metal to something lighter. I am really willing to pay a deposit for that hood (the one from the red car, with the opening in the middle)

That looks so good, it would have to be first on my list. Second would be the bumpers and side skirts. I was even considering getting the 09 lip kit from the dealer and installing them over the stock bumper, but I'm thinking that a 1 piece approach would be better. More solid, less weight than 2 pieces put together. Right?

We use grade-A fiberglass and resins... Literally the best fiberglass manufacturing process in the business. Nothing like some of the cheapo stuff that floats around eBay sometimes. The fabricator that does these is truly a perfectionist at heart and really takes his time on every piece.

You won't be saving much weight with a fiberglass hood, since it needs to be thick enough to resist warping when temps fluctuate. Besides, the OEM hood is already quite light to begin with.

I hope more people follow your lead, since we will definitely need deposits if we're gonna be making everything from scratch. I will be posting more info on pricing very soon.

It's definitely better to have one piece instead of two, but no so much because of the weight factor... Rather, it is stronger and there's potentially less mess involved when installing the piece.

Everybody please make sure that you are on the following list if you're interested at all:

People on that list will get special introductory pricing once I have the prices ready.

Sorry, but this thread is exclusively for liftbacks. I might do some sedan parts a bit later on if there's enough interest.

Thanks for all the votes! I think the bulk of the votes have been cast, so I will start crunching some numbers soon.

OK, for all those people that are looking for a lip kit, what do you think about this one?

Rear Lip
Basically, I'm looking for something like this:

I don't want the kit to stand out at all... Just the opposite. Clean lines, and make it blend with the stock lines as much as possible:

Front Lip
What I like about this front lip is that it can look good with or without sideskirts:

Here's one that has some features that I like:

This is a sedan front, but I think it would look awesome in an LB as well (matches nicely with the rear lip from a few pics before):

Yeah, If you can keep the kit looking clean and understated rather then all showcar riced out I'd be interested. Just might be hard to find 10 people that all want the same looking car :P

any thoughts on a custom lip for an 09+ bumper? I love my bumper but, I feel it could be a bit more aggressive w/o me spending tons of money on an Asian bumper and lip for 1k+

for an 07-08 or 09+ here is a quick photoshop of the bumper I would love to have ( notice the nice aero lip and a smooth front with big front intake holes), with a flush smoothed out rear bumper and kaminari sideskirts but more round and euro looking :D

here is an idea of the lip i want

Whats the status on the rear bumper design, RS or Ings TK?

I am interested, but seeing the final looks and placement on one's car will have me put out money. Hopefully enough people generate and make the effort in getting one so i can get one later. I'm not sad about the introductory price, as long as its the styling I'm looking for :)

Watching.....

That's a nice kit. Do you have pictures of the rear lip?

Still torn between those two designs. Modified Ings seems more likely though.
