Sedan (Belta) Eyelids

Our current forum moderator has been very helpful with some Photoshop work in order to help me out in designing the new sedan versions of the eyelids that I'm currently creating for the LB versions of the Yaris. Thanks should also go to EfrainMan for "lending us" his picture for the mock ups.

IYHO, which sedan versions are you guys interested in? You can also post a different version if you like and I will attempt to make it, if the demand is high enough.

Please keep in mind that a different mold has to be created in order to create every new model, so I am especially interested in finding out about versions that I can make many copies of.
  • Model 1: DarkSide
  • Model 2: DrEvil
  • Model 3: Mini
Again, I'd like to thank Thomas for his help on the current nominees.

I like it! It does make it a bit more mellow looking. Not a bad attempt whatsoever.

I don't think the prices will be too different from my current ones: $75 painted, $55 unpainted.

I still need to verify these with the fabricator, but it's definitely a good feeler price for the time being. I'm pretty sure the Mini will be less expensive to make though.

Any more suggestions? I'm about to make the first batch of these, so please let me know in time to include them in the fabrication process!

Again, the paint process is a tricky one. Unless someone sends me paint samples from other countries (maybe the hitch covers?), I can only go with what I have available, and that is Mexican Yarii.

The colors so far have matched perfectly on the USDMs, by the way. I've only heard that Canadian versions may be a bit off, but nothing big.

Has it been decided on what model will be produced first time around i.e. darkside or doc evil? Darkside in my opinion flows better w/the contour of the hood line. Anyway, I would be in for a set of darksides unpainted.
