Simota Carbon intake *iphone pix*

After staring at it for a good...year and 4 months, i decided to give it a go on the newer yaris...still a pain in the butt to fit, but its tight and wont go anywhere. I have yet to find a place to secure it, but its very tight in there. it sounds good and is in good working order. just want to show you guys. :)

Here's a video of it with windows open if you wanna hear the intake..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qyfqio3jp78

Does anyone else have this intake? I wanna know how its supposed to fit!

Yup I have that and it looks pretty much the same in my '07 (maybe just a bit tighter in your case)...

I suggest swapping your battery for a 15lb Braille CF, which is what I intend on doing at some point, hopefully soon.

Just tightening the steel base + some locktite should be enough for the thing to keep still... Maybe add some padding to the front area just in case to prevent scratches?

All I know is that I really don't like the situation I have right now... Something must be done
