Turbo auto yaris top speed and 0-60
From 8 to 117 (125 with the speedo offset of the 20's). Had to pause for a sec for bumps/on ramp turns. Didn't feel like traveling for a stretch of smooth highway.
Turbo def made a BIG difference here... before it wouldnt get past 105, and this is after almost 2 miles lol. It hit top speed before it would have otherwise gotten to 100. Compare to shinlee's stock 5 speed top speed run: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...oid=2029109187 The 0-60 vid, tough to say exactly where "60" is with the dubs on, but this vid was made slightly uphill. |

That was actually my radar detector, and then blowoff valve :)
When you hit the governer, you def know it... the car basically takes the throttle off, even though your still flooring it. I assumed I had found the top speed before, but that was just the car running out of power lol This was definitely the governer... and I'd say the top speed has yet to be defined, I bet it could hit whatever the tranny limits it to as it was just getting back into the peak power band. ~125 was pretty fun, it wasn't really unstable... but it definitely didn't feel planted all the way up there. |

So the automatic tops at 125, but do we know what the 5spd tops at with Turbo?
TurboYaris? Or at least do we know what an Xa Turbo tops at with 5spd.

Dude, the dubs need to go! Put them in the garage for shows and grab some real rims so you don't pit your chrome tearing your new turbo to bits. I'll bet you're carrying damn near 37 MPH into second. Still doesn't make it a Ferrari killer, but its bearably fast now.

I'll grab a set of 15's soon, along with the lightweight crank pulley... and, well, not alot more that can be done until some tranny work is performed. I may look into a boost controller, I think up to maybe 9 psi would be safe if not used constantly... more than anything I'm curious as to how it would perform. |

The CEL will have to be eliminated before emissions can be considered... not impossible, but a PITA for sure. |

http://www.zpiracing.net/store/produ...roducts_id=346 not listed on there though, not sure why. this is the one, apparantly a very sweet one: http://www.zeropointindustries.net/s...roducts_id=157 |

so you had to remove one of the o2 sensors? if so why?
is that why you have the cel on? btw nice acceleration. but like chinocharles said the dubs gotta go. if you had some 16-17" with really good sticky tires i think you would like it better. |
