Remove Warning Decals from Visors

Has anyone been able to do it? I have the same thing on my Jeep, but there I just covered them up with cool Jeep stickers. I was hoping to remove the ones on my Yaris...

Cheers! M2

There used to be a thread about this -- some creative ideas on good ways to cover them up.

you could take the visors to an auto upholstery shop, too. That's probably what I'll do.

a quick google search has the following methods:

1) using some sort of heater to get them medium hot, then peel
2) use "goof off"

google for more detail

Yeah, I got the same instructions for my Jeep; and none of it worked! Hell, I even baked them in the oven and the decals still didn't come off!

I am looking for solutions people who own a Yaris have used with success!

Cheers! M2

I used a fat chisle tip sharpie to color them black. I "painted" on a layer, let it dry and "painted" on another layer untill it was as dark as I wanted it to be. I'm very satisfied with the result.
I supose you could just use a rattlecan and spray paint them black too.

Automotive paint stripper, 10/1 mix water/stripper, rub lightly and wipe after a few seconds with a wet towel. Don't leave it on there as it will eat the plastic. Worked on my Wrangler visors

Someone should make vinyl decals with humorous Yaris-related warnings to cover them up. DUH.
