Flat Key
I have an 08 hatchback with manual locks, and have always kept a flat key in my wallet for every car I've owned since I got one with a mid-80s BMW I bought in Germany back in 1995.
I am having a hard time finding anyone with flat keys that will fit the Yaris. I've been to Lowe’s and Home Depot, WalMart as well as a few auto parts stores, and I can’t find anyone who has flat key blanks for a Toyota! I've been told that the Yaris keys have chips in them, but as I don't have an alarm or ignition disabler, I have my doubts. Also, please don’t recommend the dealer, as I am trying to keep this under $40!  Cheers! M2 |
