xenon hid light bulb

hey guys, i''m planning to get xenon hid lightbulbs for my car. i was wondering, is there any specs or brands i should get. i saw some on ebay. for about $10 including shipping, the 70-100 watts, 4500K brightness. did anybody change the bulb to these xenon hid light bulbs? and how long do they usually last, i've researched but didnt get treads on this.

thanks

sorry to disapoint you...but those are not HID xenon...they are xenon look......

but you can find for $60-$70 on ebay, a real HID xenon kit....... remembe that a HID kit has to have two ballasts at least, depending on the kit, and two HID bulbs......

You'll need the single filament H4 size. A set of 4300k single filament HIDs are $150.

Anything over 55/60 watts might run the risk of frying the harness. 55 low beam and 60 high beam. I fried a harness on my truck by using high wattage headlights. The Osram Nightbreakers and the Philips X-treme headlights from the UK at www.powerbulbs.com are really bright. Not as bright as HID but they have a heck of alot brighter and whiter then stock and cheaper then HID and no blinding glare. These are Xenon gas filled headlights.

i run higher wattage bulbs in my yaris, but bought a heavy duty wiring kit for the headlamps....beats stock bulbs

but any halogen bulb brand you pick will likely be fine if its stock wattage....

I use Philips X-treme Power H4 bulbs and they are awesome.

I just received my Philips X treme bulbs a few hours ago in the mail. I will let you know how they compare to the Osram Nightbreakers which didn't last very long for me. I would say they lasted about 6 months if even that. Got them from the U.K. in 6 days and shipping is free.
