And now for something completely different...

I think the ECHO/Yaris is fine just like it is! Its a teeny tiny little car. Why would you want to soup it up?

Because I can.

Do you fix up your house? ...wear makeup? ...work out? ...improve on anything?

It just seems like the cars function is cheap transportation. So if you wanted to make it better you would make it do its job cheaper. I mean how fast can you make it go? If you go looking for a race theres plenty out there bigger than you in your souped up Yaris.
Of course its a very well designed, roomy, reliable car. Its very good at that already.

And that's completely fine. However, some people like to customize their vehicles and try to get the most performance out of them possible. Plus, not all of us want or need a super-fast car. The Yaris might not be the optimal straight-line race car, but they handle very well--and they are raced all over the world.

That is your point of view. To me, it's a cheap, blank slate that I can make a race car with and not spend a ton of money. And at nearly 185 whp so far, I still get 31-33 mpg.

How fast can it go? ....Really, really fast.

I'm having fun. Any questions?
