Best DVD ripping software

What is the best software for ripping DVD's to your computer? If it turns out to be some crazy program with a bunch of features past ripping DVD's I'm alright with that too.

I actually use the 2 together. Never had a problem.

Not sure if they're vista compatible tho, I loves me XP!

+1

Also, add on DVD43 for those stubborn dvds that refuse to give up their encryption to DVD Shrink alone.

DVD shrink and ImgBurn. Works well with vista and xp. Both free too.

I've been using Clone DVD, and been pretty happy with it. DVD Shrink will also get the job done. I like Clone DVD because you basically stick the DVD in, select the format you want, and click start. No decrypting the movie file, getting another program to rip the audio, finding subtitles, and finding a third program to merge them all into one file. It's convenient.

I can't speak for functionality on Vista - I have it on my XP laptop, but not on my Vista computer. I can't imagine that it would be less functional on Vista, though.

DVDFab hands down, there is no support for DVD Decrypter for many years. DVDFab lets you clone directly to a DL DVD. As far as I know you cannot reauthor w/Imageburn so you will need to shrink via DVD Shrink 3.2.

DVDFab can clone Blu Ray and PS2 as well.

i run clone dvd too, and I'm using Vista. No problems whatsoever, click and go simplicity. I use AnyDVD with it to get past the copyrights....i mean....My bro-in law turned me onto it and hes a computer whiz basically so I feel very safe using it. Hes been using it for a long time and has burned more movies than ive heard of with it lol
