New Group

Figured that we needed a group for us old timers. Not to exclude anyone but simply so that the youngins here aren't inundated with posts about Deep Purple, Apollo Moonlandings, Carburetors, Bell Bottoms, Woodstock, and other antique stuff.

The idea is not to exclude anyone but to allow the youngins some peace and quiet while us oldsters reminisce.

Yeah, how many young people ever had a TV dial to turn? The term "don't touch that dial!" isn't used that much anymore.

DITTO Bob!

I tell my kids that all the time- even about twisting the knob around the dial to "fine tune" the station in!

I remember our TV when I was a little kid. It was a 13 inch black and white. Yes, with a turn dial.

OK, I'm in.

AND telephones with cords. You had to stand/sit in the same room to talk on the telephone.
