hi im new......

hi folks my name is steven i am from dublin in ireland... i am on couple of different forums... i have a nissan skyline, but my girlfriend drives a 2002 jdm toyota vitz rs 1.5 and i have turned it into my lil project....she has had it for a yr now and i finally decided to brake open the wallet this weekend....

all opinion welcome...

here's pic of it as it stands exterior wise....

and this is what i have done this weekend..

well peeps its been a while since i got the vitz anythin so decided to go bit mad this weekend ha ha ha....
as ya's know this is brenda's baby and she insisted she wanted a nice standard car( like i was going to let that happen) ...

so this is wat i got....

first thing to go was the standard radio, this wasn a simple change as i had to hunt down a dash mould that allows ya to fit a din pocket and headunit, eventually found one on ebay for 18euro delivered which was good as its perfect fit...

next thing to sort was the borin big plain dash so got 3 of these gauges for somethin nice to look at, just simple water temp, volt and vacuum and also got trd gearknob...

i then got crackin on makin the 1.5vvti's engine bay look and sound well, so got a cusco front strut brace, apexi induction kit and a cusco rad cap...

then the only thing left to go was try sort somethin with the cars arse so removed the vitz badge and replaced it with a rs badge from a doner vitz ha ha and i fitted this nice shiny HKS exhuast gives the car a real nice raspy note...

opinions please............. hopefully wheels next:D

Very nice so far, keep going!

Is the owner complaining about the exhaust noise yet?

isn't the cold air intake supposed to bend to the right of the engine block though?

no dont think so as the rubber air hose fron the throttle body is moulded to that position and also the apexi brackets to hold filter still are made to keep filter secure in that position
