Goodyear Eagle LS tires

My 2008 hatchback came with Goodyear Eagle LS tires all season tires and I can honestly tell you that they could only be "all season" in a place like Mexico. They are horrible in snow, ice and even slide on wet roads. Anyone else have them on their Yaris or any other car with these tires?

Aren't they pathetic?!
I've found them better in the wet than anywhere else. Damn scary on snow/ice. What a difference once I got the ice-radials and steelies installed.

I got rid of the stock Goodyear's and got a set of snow tires, definitely worth the investment.

Ditto. I cannot believe how much better my car handles in the winter with snow tires.

The stock LS tires are really quite bad. I live in Hawaii and the dry traction is not very good and they are down right scary in the rain. I don't even want to know what they are like in snow.

I switched to Michelin Exalto 195/55/15 and they are 100% better. This is probably the best upgrade you can make to a Yaris once you buy one. Get rid of the stock rubber!

Tire rack is a great place to read reviews.

Hmm I like the LS's . They are very predictable . They slide just right . Very controlable in the wet and dry conditions (don't know about snow) . Great for driving to work everyday . As a matter of fact , I just bought a 09 and made them switch the Bridgestones for the Goodyears . When I go to the Mountains or track I use Michelin PE2 Exaltos

My 07 LB is still on the original Goodyears since May 06 .
