Hey everyone!

I went ahead an purchased an '09 Yaris 3D (polar white) with the power package on Friday for a killer deal.

I come from a background of import cars and motorcycles and it's nice to mellow out and get a more economical car. (Besides, Southern California freeways + manual trans gets sooo old so quickly.)

I was thrilled to see a forum for these cars!

Welcome Kasey! Glad you found us. You're lucky to live in Cali too, as we have a lot of members out there and meets are relatively frequent. Enjoy your new car and the site... lots of info available here!

I never said it was or wasn't a race car. :D I know that any car has potential and I've seen the pics of the yaris racing

and it brought me back to my import car days (I built a few and raced them).

Since my driving record is FINALLY clean, I have to force myself to not look at the Yaris as potential for racing, but to get me to/from where I need to go (I commute to school). Besides, I take my R6 to the track and that's more than enough adrenaline right there. :)

One of my best friends has an R6. I want to grab an SV650 so I can go play with him.

LOL, don't mind Mike... he manages to post inbetween rounds, although I don't understand how a looney bin has internet access.

Can't see the first two from work, but the white Civic is nice.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I know I can be a bit of nightmare since "some" (most) guys can feel threatened by a girl who knows a bit about cars/the like.
