so.. wait.. those things just roll into place? They aren't bolted to the floor, and they don't have any kind of additional support? That sounds too easy. How stable are they?

i'd be more interested in something like this if it had more than a 2 year warranty.

it's going to eventually break down, the stuff is easy to replace.....a warranty just adds more money to the upfront price anyways....

The real beauty to this lift is that it's easy to install by yourself and easy to run and maintain by yourself. All that I had to do was test drill a hole in my slab to ensure that I had 4", in which case, I had more. I have a HILTI TE72 hammer drill so, drilling the holes was easy and setting the anchor was no problem either. I bought .5" longer bolts due to the stack height tolerance of the RaceDeck flooring and that was about it.....everything was straight forward and made sense. It plugs into standard electric too which is awesome! It is unbelievable the amt of room I have to work on the car now. I could very easily do ANYTHING.

Even though you can unbolt and roll away...the real nicety is that the quick disconnect fitting and cart with wheels allows you to stowe everything away and leave the lift in place. My Yaris stays outside as I have a nicer car that keeps a home in the garage but, aside from the posts....there is plenty of room in the garage.

Another great thing is that, if you have a seperate garage or a family member or whatever....you can buy more anchors and set their floor up for the lift. This makes it a mobile unit. It really is very, very versatile and I definitely recommend it. Gabe was the person I dealt with over there....very attentive to questions and any concerns and always responding in a very short time period.

OK - I am drilling my floor right now, so you can bring it over to my place. My garage ceiling is 10' 6", so we can do oil changes while sitting in leather office chairs...
