subwoofer box that fits in Yaris LB with privacy lid still in tact.
does anyone know of one, ive bought two hoping they would fit and it feels like i wasted 100 bux on boxes with carpet on them. i dont really want a tube one, they arent as good as box. if there is a brand or something let me know. thank you

What about something like this?
http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...6&postcount=29 http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...5&postcount=37 I wasn't looking for too much bass. This setup provided much more than I was looking for. Still happy with it. |

My box is about an inch too tall as well, so I have the lid clipped in on one side and it rests over the sub box on the other end. You can't really tell from outside the car that it's not fastened properly but it bothers me knowing that if I open my trunk the thing is going to fall all over the place.

Spare tire box..... ever played with fiberglass? If not... well its a pain the first few times you do it. I love glass, not that great with it, but use it as much as I can. The biggest issue is finding a sub that'll work well in that small area. Gotta get a general idea of how much airspace you will have to work with first. |

That's what I was thinking. I haven't seen anything with power that would work in some of the spare tire boxes. Maybe for a quiet sq setup, but still, that thing looks like is 0.1 or 0.2 cu ft.

Mine sounds pretty good. It doesn't shake or rattle my interior panels or windows and it's not annoying like those that can be heard from blocks away (unless I turn the base up on the head unit). One of his local Toyota dealer now has these spare tire subs. as a dealer added option on the Yarii they sell. This is the sub. I got: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130TSS2...S-SW2541D.html Pioneer recommends a box w/ a volume of 0.35 - 0.7 cubic feet. The spare tire box is around .4 cubic feet. |

That's around twice what I paid for the sub box + the new floor that goes over the tire.
I guess he gave me a discount since mine was the "test" unit. Anyway, he only makes them for 10" or 8" shallow Pioneer subs.. I'd check out SonicElectronix, Newegg and eBay for the sub. and amp.. |
