I'm getting brake fade at the track. I'm using oem disc and pads.Where can I find pads which will tollerate higher heat. I don't mind switching pads for track use but I can't cant find track specific pads for a 2007 yaris. Any help would be appreciated>

and fluid, and lines. If you're cooking your fluid you'll get fade that way too.

All of that, and, of course... better tires, suspension setup and skills so that you can corner faster and BRAKE LESS.

Google is your friend.
Mainly, the difference is in the temperature spec. Dot 5 is silicone based and has some other benefits (and some potential pitfalls depending on what you want to use it in). For racing, get a good high-temp DOT 3/4 like Motul or ATE. Pay close attention to the actual brake fluid spec, not just the DOT spec. The DOT spec is just a minimum that must be met, so you can have "streetable" DOT 3 that isn't nearly as temperature tolerant as "race" DOT 3. |

AMSOIL is another good DOT4 brake fluid.

if the pedal is still firm, and it is just not braking as hard as it should, then you don't need fluid or lines, just pads.
If your pedal suddenly gets soft then go for the fluid. |

There's no question that you need pads. The stock pads were never intended for track use and will fade VERY quickly. You need good higher-temp pads, and fluid that will hold up to the higher temp the pads will operate at.
Ducting helps A LOT, too. |
