trd springs and stock shocks?

ok, so here's the deal. i have 17" tires, 215/45/17, and just came across a set of trd springs at a great price - in the box. now i have them, they're sitting in my living room, but after reading through a few different threads here, i'm starting to get nervous.

i'm not using my car for autox or anything. i don't race, i'm purely modifying for cosmetic reasons. that said, i don't need the "best" or "optimum" setup for these.

i guess my questions/concerns are:

-will my tires rub, and if so (since i'm expecting the worst), what's the best way to avoid/fix that?

-will the trd springs work with my stock shocks? again, i'm not looking for performance; just to lower my car and have a decently smooth ride.

-are there any other issues i should concern myself with?
