look for screws... if you have all the screws out (if there are any).... then pull till you hear a pop... it's mostly clips that hold the panels in place.... a panel popping tool is handy... but not needed.

Chances are you will break a clip or two... especially if you haven't done stuff like this before.

do a search for "sound deadening" you should get a few hits from people who have taken pics... I know I posted a few about 20 months ago.

crutchfield has directions on door panels and rear trim for speakers...

If it's the same as the 09, I have all the body panels downstairs, and I can take pics to show you where the mounting clips are...

Look at the 07 service manual posted in the DIY section of the forum. The interior section of the manual has reasonable instructions for disassembling (or at least diagrams that you can decipher). There really aren't any differences between the 07 and 08, so the 07 guide is fine.

If there are specific areas that you are having trouble with, let us know. I have literally taken apart every single part of the interior.

I did that same area without pulling the seats or screrwing around with the seatbelts. Also used 1 layer of FatMat but strictly for road noise.

haha. I love the way it looks stripped down. Might strip out some interior on mine sometime, knowing that I will be facing a lot more road noise while it's out...

SQ, aren't we all to some degree? I know you got the chills when you saw your first peek at a yaris in it's birthday suit :) I can't wait to undress mine. :D

Lol! The chills. I stripped my girl QUICK! I didn't have time for chills. I layed her all day, it was all about the business. Now...she doesn't talk back hardly as much.

...I even used air tools to shut her hup.

It worked in spectacular fashion! ...Here in a week, I'll have worked her over again, this time I'm working the trunk and her back doors. I'll wait on the roof until I get home permanently. I'll even post pictures of all the dirty nastiness! WOOT!

Here's to deadening and foam!

I'm interested in your roof removal. I'm afraid of really messing that piece up.
