clunking sound

hi all,
i would like to ask for your opinion on this, this occured last thursday. when i turn the car all the way to the left i hear a clunking sound coming from the left front part and i remembered that i ran on some big pothole weeks before. what could be causing this?

i need your expert opinions before going to the dealer (you know how dealers here in LA). btw, my car is still under warranty i hope they'll cover any replacing parts.

thanks.

wheel haves to much play in the up and down movenent of the wheel . Too much play of wheel left and right is tie rod . A dealer service center could diagnose it . MIDAS and other national car shops will check it for free . Good luck .

Clicking when the wheel is cranked all the way to one side (or the other) typically indicates a shot CV joint (also known as half shaft, or axle). Lift her up and see whats going on under there. Check for torn CV boots and leaking transmission fluid where the axle meets the transmission.

Note that just because you dont have either of these symptoms, doesn't mean that the joint isn't shot. You may need a shop to inspect it.

Maybe its the loose nut behind the wheel!! Just joking, I would check the tie rod and CV joint, then move to something under the fendor might be loose from the pot hole you ran over.
