Factory Electric Locks
Can anybody tell me what the part numbers are for the factory electric lock motors? My Yaris is a 2010, three door. I would like to add electric locks to the Yaris.
Or can you tell me where I might find the information. The Local Toyota dealer has no idea how to look up parts, I've been there and tried. They had no clue Can anyone help??

Thank you for the info, it is sincerely appreciated.
A little pricey, I think I'll call all the local Salvage/Wrecking yards

Why not just buy an aftermarket kit? I bought one for my 07 Sedan for about $130 and installed it myself within a few hours. It's been almost 2 years and I have not had any problems with it.

I am looking into a kit sold by www.a1electric.com. I have used their power window kits (not the spal kits) with great success. With any luck their lock kits are just as good

Go aftermarket and get an extra actuator so you can wire up the rear hatch to unlock as well. I have been using an eBay special with a different brand alarm system for almost two years now without any problems

I want to put power locks on my yaris as well..the cheapest way I've found so far is to get doors from a wrecked yaris..I saw a pair for $60 total...a lot more labor on my part but a WHOLE lot cheaper...plus extra parts!!

It only cost $124 for a Sedan with keyless entry for an aftermarket kit that can be installed within a few hours.

Hey hickman. Would you mind posting a link to the exact package you're referring to?
I found this: http://a1electric.com/Merchant2/merc...Code=W02C-712T But it's $144 before shipping. Thanks! Last edited by peaceofficer03; 03-24-2010 at 10:38 AM. |

Hi Hickman, I have one question.
Did you choose the rod or cable style of their kit? I bought a aftermarket keyless entry system a while ago, when I tried to install it. I just realized that is actually for powered door lock. That means it does not include any actuators. Do you think if I can use A1 actuator to make this work? |

Well it doesn't look like they still sell the same exact kit that I bought 2 years ago. Here is a link to that power locks kit I bought. But they had this same kit that came with a different keyless system for $125.
