Couple things to consider when getting shift knobs:

1 - Thread Size
2 - Physical size of the shift knob, specifically it's height

Some knobs are installed by using corresponding thread inserts, while others are secured in place using allen key screws (ie. Momo).

I cannot remember the thread size for the Manual or Auto transmission, can someone jump in here?

But you should pay attention to the the physical height of the knob as well. If you have the manual transmission with the nasty rubber shift boot, your knob cannot be too 'short' or else the some parts of the metal shift stick will be exposed. Think of those old joysticks used for old video arcades that have the round knob and about an inch or so of metal at the base.

Alternatively if you get a short shifter, less of the metal shift stick is exposed, so you can get away with a "shorter" knob.
