This is really the beginning of the end. I'm waiting on the dynamat to get here. Probably arrive in about 4 hours or so. Decided to go ahead and strip my baby

After reading some healthy discussions about sound deadening materials I don't think I'll be trying to cover every square inch of sheet metal. I'll put up some more pics after the procedural work is done

Hopefully I'll be done with this kind of work for good after this! I haven't decided if I want to try to do the doors yet or not. The Fatmat I put on the back half of the car is melting in the Texas summer sun found a couple tiny puddles under the carpet where it ran down the sides. I'm afraid to take off the side panels and check out the extent of the damage. So I might find something else for the doors.
