My Last Post Was In 2009...

I've dropped about 17,000 on my leased 09. No problems to report, just hassle free Yaris goodness. Couple thoughts and observations: It's handled the Ohio winters very well. This last winter was a snow machine and I've been pleasantly surprised at how well it drives and handles. Ditto through thunderstorms and rain since this year has been like a great flood. Gas mileage isn't quite good as I hoped but I don't do a ton of highway driving. It really is a fun car to drive. I'm pleased with the pep it displays at times. Never pick black again! The color just doesn't hold up as well and it shows almost any scratches, nicks, and chips. Looks cool as hell though. It's almost too big for me. Rarely, rarely do I use the back for anything. I paid the lease off a year early, three year term, and my local dealer wants to try to get me to re-lease an 11. From everything I'm seeing and reading there is almost no difference between my 09 and the 11. I'm happy to listen to any opinions on the matter. I'm also interested in the IQ, that might fit my needs more, and the 12 Yaris redesign. Thoughts? |
