Will it fit?

Hi folks! To make a long story short, a dear friend of mine is loaning me her 2-door 2007 Yaris for a couple of weeks while I wait on the delivery of my new Mini Cooper Clubman.

I need to transport, hopefully in the Yaris, 6 shutters that are about two feet wide and five feet tall. Will those fit behind the front seats? Thanks in advance, just cant picture how much room there is between the front seats and the back of the hatch.

Here's the cargo space of the 5dr, the 3dr isnt much different.

Give her the Mini, and keep the Yaris for yourself!

It probably will fit, but you will need to put the back seats down as the picture above shows.

Also, when you fold the seats down, there will be a little gap between the seats and the back of the trunk. The carpet part of the back of the trunk flips up to fill in the gap and it makes a hard plastic surface, you'll probably be able to see what i'm talking about once you get your hands on the Yaris.
You should be able to fit a lot in the Yaris though. :)

Although...if each shutter is 2 feet wide and five feet tall...and there are 6 of them...you might have to make multiple trips. XD

By the way, your friend might have a cargo cover in the back of her Yaris. Be sure to take it out before putting the seats down, and just leave it out while you are carrying big stuff.

There is almost exactly 6 feet from the closed hatch to the dash, so to fit something 5 feet long you will have to lay the passenger seat flat as well as the back seat. There is about 4 feet between the closed hatch and the back of the front seats (with the fronts about 2/3 of the way forward).

For the 2 foot wide shutters, you will want to put them in on their sides, otherwise they will be right against the driver's seat if you lay them flat.
