Suggestions for Tool Bags

So I am in need of finding a decent tool bag and wondered if anyone has any suggestions? I don't want it to be too big as it will be in my trunk all of the time, but it needs to decent enough size and also have compartments or pouches.

Whatever you do, stay away from the zippered Craftsman ones. On the two that I have both had the zippers fail within a couple of uses.

i actually made a little "survival tool kit" that i leave in the spare tire area.... i took a multi-tool knife, some screw drivers, a couple different pliers, some zip ties, duct tape, fishing line, fishing hooks, a lighter, some small candles, tire repair kit, tire psi gauge, tiny cheap 12v air compressor, a rag, a tiny empty gas can, a small blaket, some rope, and a army style folding shovel! but i did that cuz im a huge outdoors man. you can make your's to suit your needs and life style. my Yaris had these compartments on both sides of my spare tire so everything fit like a glove.

The sedan doesn't have any compartments in the rear like the LB so is a challenge in and of itself. I have been compiling the tools that I want to have in the car at all times to include going to the track so I need a compact yet functional bag for sure. I will also have to figure out a way to secure it if it doesn't fit in the spare tire well.

does the sedan have any empty hallow spaces in the truck near the sides behind the carpet? i noticed a little area on top of my spare tire tha was big enough to put my empty gas can and still close the plastic cover thingy. if the sedan has the same amount of space above he tire i would use that

^ the only space the sedan has per se is if you do the spare tire delete which I have done however with a sub in the back it makes it a pain in the ass to get into it so I will only store stuff that I would truly only need in an emergency.

the Greenlee one is a great bag, my dad is a electrictian and he abuses the hell out of that same one and it takes the beating! the Snap on bag didnt seem too bad also. which one were you leaning towards?

I was leaning toward the Snap-on or the Greenlee actually.

I did go and check out what they had to offer as well however the closed types they offer didn't really seem to match what I need to be able to fit the hard case kits I already have which I think you have seen when I was visiting you? My biggest problem is that I honestly don't feel like knuckling under right now and picking up an entire mechanics set of stuff like I prolly will have to by mid next year. I figure if I buy a tool bag in the 50-80 dollar range it will not be a waste as I can use it further down the line as well. I have been actually putting items together as I use them from multiple sets so that I am not carrying stuff that I will not necessarily use ya know?
